How it works

From sign-up to your first payment in minutes

Payitgo gives each payment its own deposit address, watches the blockchain, tells your server when the money is final, and settles it to your wallet.

For you, the merchant

  1. 1

    Create your account

Sign up with your name, business name, email and password. Your test and live API keys are issued at once.

  2. 2

    Add your payout addresses

Add your own wallet address for each coin you accept. Test addresses and your first live address of a coin work at once; another, or a changed one, 24 hours after it is set.

  3. 3

    Choose how to get paid

Share a payment link, add the WooCommerce plugin to your shop, send customers to the hosted checkout, or build your own payment page with the API and libraries.

  4. 4

    Get notified, then go live

Watch payments in the dashboard and receive a signed webhook when one is final. When everything works in test mode, the account owner turns live mode on.

For your customer

  1. 1

    Pick a coin

The customer chooses from the coins you accept (they have an hour to choose) and sees the exact amount to send.

  2. 2

    Scan and send

They scan the address from the QR code (or copy it) and copy the exact amount into their wallet. The rate is locked for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Confirm on-chain

Payitgo detects the transaction and counts confirmations until the network considers it final.

  4. 4

    Done

The checkout shows the payment as paid, your server gets a webhook, and the money is settled to your wallet (or your balance) minutes later.

Where the money goes

Direct settlement (the default). Once a deposit is final, Payitgo takes its fees and forwards the rest to your own payout address for that coin, within minutes; a coin you have no address for is converted into one you have on the way. Nothing stays with Payitgo. Your first live payout address of a coin is used at once; another, or a changed one, after 24 hours.

Custody (optional). Payitgo keeps your money as a balance in USDT on Tron, so it never moves with a coin's price, and you request payouts of $10 or more, which Payitgo reviews before sending.

Fees. A service fee (1% by default, at least $0.20) plus the network fee, taken from each deposit as it settles. Converting a coin costs 0.5% (1.5% when Payitgo buys it for your balance). A new account passes the fees on: your customers pay them on top of your price, so you receive the full price. You can turn that off and pay them from what you receive.

Refunds. Payitgo does not issue refunds: you refund from your own wallet to the sender address shown on each deposit.

Common questions

What is Payitgo?

A crypto payment gateway. Your server (or a payment link) creates a payment priced in US dollars, the customer pays it in crypto on a checkout page, and Payitgo tells your server with a signed webhook when the money has arrived and is final.

Does Payitgo hold my funds?

Not by default. With direct settlement, each payment is forwarded to your own payout address for that coin minutes after it is final, less fees. If you prefer, custody keeps your money as a USDT balance on Tron, and you request payouts ($10 or more, reviewed by Payitgo).

How fast are payments processed?

The customer has 15 minutes to pay once the coin is set. A payment is final after its network's confirmations: about a minute on Tron and BNB Smart Chain, about 3 minutes on Ethereum, 30 to 60 minutes on Bitcoin, seconds on XRP.

Which cryptocurrencies are supported?

12 coins on 7 networks: USDT (Tron, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain), USDC (Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain), TRX, ETH, BNB, BTC, LTC, DOGE and XRP. You choose which ones you accept.

What does it cost?

A service fee of 1% by default (at least $0.20) plus the network fee, both taken from each deposit as it settles. Converting a coin adds Payitgo's 0.5% conversion fee, plus the exchange's rate and network fees, whose fixed part (a few dollars) makes small conversions dear: add a payout address for each coin you accept to avoid it. Payitgo buying a coin for your custody balance costs 1.5%, with no exchange fee on top. A new account passes the fees on to your customers, on top of your price, so you receive the full price; you can turn that off. Nothing is invoiced.

What if a customer pays the wrong amount?

A small shortfall within your tolerance (0.5% by default) still counts as paid. A partial payment can be completed before the deadline, and money that arrives up to 24 hours late still completes the payment. Everything that arrives is settled to you.
